Lazy, Lazy, Lazy...

Yes, I must admit, I'm lazy. I have so much to do...more than I can possibly list here; it's all due yesterday and I have no idea where to start. So, what do I do? I get on my computer, play some music, and update my blog. Of course, updating my blog is one of the things that I've been needing to do, though it certainly doesn't rate very high on my list of priorities.

K and I went out to a "Rock 'n' Country" bar last night. I believe it went by the name of Saddle Ridge, and it was fascinating. They had line dancing, a mechanical bull, loud country music mixed with rock, and loads of cowboy hats. I don't think it's a place that I'll return to very often, but that's not because it sucked; I'm just not country enough. Speaking of country enough; they had something that I had never seen before: a trough urinal. Imagine an extra wide (5 to 6 foot) urinal that you share with other guys. When I walked into the restroom there was a line of guys up against the wall waiting for an open stall while the trough sat empty. I had to pee...so I walked up to the trough and began my business. Seconds later I heard a voice behind me say, "I'm not man enough for the trough." Keep in mind this is a restroom in a country bar...

We've been meeting with various vendors for the wedding: photographer, florist, etc. Our "save the date" cards have been printed, but we don't have a completed guest list. Coming up with names has led to a somewhat melancholy trip down memory lane, but it's also put me touch with several people that I haven't spoken to in ages. I truly hope that I can reestablish contact with some of my old childhood friends; maybe I can even convince a few to come down for the wedding!

More to come...
